Talwara: One more human death has been reported from Talwara area of Hoshiarpur district because of stray cattle. A youth traveling on a bike met with an accident when a stray cattle came on his way. He died on the spot. Talwara police have recorded the proceedings under section 174 of CrPC.
The deceased youth was identified as Joginder Sharma s/o Suraj Sharma r/o Balwa Bazar (District Sippal, Bihar) presently residing at village Nikkuchakk). Joginder was returning from Kamahi Devi to his home at village Nikkuchakk on a bike with Reg. No. PB 54 B 5474.
When Joginder reached near Baba Gangu Nath ji Temple at village Behfatto at about 8:30 pm, a stray cattle suddenly came infront of his bike. While escaping from the cattle, his bike hit a mango tree and he got a serious head injured. Joginder died on the spot.
Talwara police took the dead body in their possession for postmortem. Proceedings were recorded under section 174 of CrPC.
The government should take steps to solve the problem of stray cattle.
