Garhdiwala: Manpreet Manna: Sant Sewa Singh of Gurudwara Rampur Khera, Garhdiwala addressed a press conference today and declared his resignation from all the posts of Sant Samaj including the post of Vice President and primary membership.
In a letter written to the President of Sant Samaj, Sant Sewa Singh alleged the Sant Samaj of serving the interests of the Government and becoming a puppet in the hands of a political class than serving Sikhism. He also said that the Sikh voters elect a Panthak Government but in reality the Government does not serve the interests of Sikhs. On contrary, the government use every weapon to suppress the Sikh movements. So, the Sikh voters must use their right to vote wisely.
Sant Sewa Singh said that Sant Samaj have deviated from its path, so he has decided to resign from all the posts.
He also said that the current issue of disrespect of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and murder of 2 Sikh youths by police have pained each and every Sikh. He sought tough punishment for the culprits. He also demanded to register a case of murder and attempt to murder against the policemen responsible for the murder of 2 Sikh youths.
