Tanda: Varinder Pandit: In a tragic accident on a link road connecting village Talwandi Dandian to Tanda, speedy Innova car crushed a bike. A woman and her 1 year old son died on the spot while her bike rider cousin got minor injuries. The driver of the Innova car fled away from the spot along with the vehicle. Tanda Police is investigating into the case.
The deceased has been identified as Mandeep Kaur w/o Laddi r/o Gurdaspur and her 1 year old son Jobanpreet.
Mandeep came to her paternal home at village Talwandi Dandian a few days ago. Today, she was traveling on a bike with her cousin Akashdeep and 1 year old son Jobanpreet to Tanda for visiting a doctor for Jobanpreet.
Tanda Police have sent the dead bodies for postmortem.
