Ludhiana: Gurdeep Singh: National Finishing and Cookery Institute of India (NFCI) celebrated the Baker’s Day at Ludhiana campus on Friday. Mr. Ajit (General Manger, Keys Hotel, Ludhiana) and Mr. Amit( Executive Chef, Keys hotel Ludhiana) were the chief guests on this occasion.
Students baked innovative dishes with the traditional methods using authentic ingredients as they had been trained by chef Ankush (winner of title- Chef of the Punjab).
Chief guests addressed the students about the career prospectus in the hospitality industry and were pleased to see the presentation of the dishes by the young aspirants.
All staff members of NFCI, students and Anjna Joshi (Executive director-NFCI), Sanjeev Kashyap (Administrative Director) and Gagandeep Singh (Centre Manager) were also present to mark the glory to the event. A vote of thanks was given by the directors & manger of NFCI to conclude the event.
