– A special ticket of Rs. 100 for whole day introduced for researchers
Sri Anandpur Sahib: Raj Ghai: The management of the Virasat-e-Khalsa, a Sikh museum at Sri Anandpur Sahib, have decided to change the visiting timings with effect from 1st August, 2015. A spokesperson informed that the new timings will be from 10 am to 6 pm and the museum would remain closed on every Monday. He said that the changes have been done as per the convenience of the Sangat.
The spokesperson also informed that the management have also decided to keep the museum closed for 2 weeks a year. The Virasat-e-Khalsa would remain closed from 24th July to 31st July and from 24th January to 31st January every year. This decision has been taken for maintenance of the museum.
The spokesperson also said that a special ticket counter will also be set up for the researchers and a fee of Rs. 100 will be charged for whole day. No fee will be collected from the children below 12 years. Otherwise, no visiting fee is collected from general public.
