– Release of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ with ‘Jaikaras’ of Bhagwan Hanuman on ‘Eid’ is a matter for pride for Hindus : Pandit Suresh Sharma
Hoshiarpur: Various Hindu organizations today organized a protest march in Hoshiarpur against ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, upcoming movie of Salman Khan. The protest march was led by Ashutosh Sharma, District President of Bhagwan Parshuram Sena.
The Hindu organizations which participated in the protest were Bhagwan Parshuram Sena, Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal, Brahman Kalyan Parishad, Hindu Sangh, Sanatan Dharam Mahavir Dal, Prabhu Shri Ram Sewa Dal, Hindustan Shiv Sena, Vishav Nirman Yuva Brahman Sabha, Brahman Sabha, etc.
The protest march passed through various markets and roads of Hoshiarpur shouting slogans against Censor Board, Salman Khan and Kabir Khan. The protesters burnt the effigy of Censor Board at Ghanta Ghar Chownk and demanded immediate sacking of the Chariman of Censor Board. The protesters also burnt the posters of Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan. They gave a memorandum to the administration regarding their demands.
Ashutosh Sharma said, “Salman Khan has insulted Bhagwan Hanuman in the movie and Parshuram Sena would not tolerate it.” He warned the Censor Board for passing the movies which insult the Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
He said, “I have noticed that the Khan actors are insulting the Hindu Gods and Goddesses from a few years and the Censor Board is encouraging them by passing their movies.” “If it will not stop, then Hindu organizations would initiate a nationwide protest against Censor Board,” added Sharma.
On the other hand, District President of Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP), Pandit Suresh Sharma came in support of the movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. He said, “It is a matter of great happiness for the Hindus that ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is going to release on the occasion of ‘Eid’ with the ‘Jaikaras’ of Bhagwan Hanuman.”
He said, “It is a matter of pride for every Hindu that a Muslim actor worships a Hindu God on the occasion of ‘Eid'”
Though, he questioned the role of Censor Board in passing the movies like Mohalla Assi.
