Hoshiarpur: A delegation of Hoshiarpur Photographers Club (HPC) today submitted a memorandum to SDM Hoshiarpur Anand Sagar Sharma demanding the complete ban on usage of Arms (fun firing) in the parties. The memorandum was sent to the Chief Minister of Punjab through SDM office Hoshiarpur.
President Vinod Kumar said that the usage of Arms in the marriage and other parties for fun have become a fashion in the recent times. He said that many people die during fun firing in the parties and mostly the photographers have become the victims.
He pointed out a recent incident in Haryana state where a photographer was killed in fun firing. He condemned the incident and sought strict action against the culprits.
Vinod Kumar further pointed out that such an incident was also noticed at a marriage palace near Garhdiwala where a photographer was killed in fun firing last year.
The Club members have demanded complete and strict ban on fun firing in the parties. They also advised the photographers to stop working during the parties where the people do fun firing.
