Garhshankar: The Dharmik Darshan Yatra, carrying holy relics of Guru Sahibans, today started from the BAM Khalsa College Garhshankar. A large number of devotees from Garhshankar and nearby areas paid obeisance to Sri Guru Granth Sahib and had darshan of the relics of Guru Sahiban.
Before the yatra left from Garhshankar to Pojewal, the Singh Sahib Giani Mal Singh performed Ardas. A contingent of Punjab police gave salutation to the yatra at the college premises. Panj Piaras led the procession.
While moving from Garhshankar to Pojewal, people had darshan of yatra with complete dedication. The yatra route was marked with cold water chhabeel and langar for devotees. MLA Surinder Singh Bhullewal Rathan, Deputy Commissioner Anindita Mitra, SDM Garhshankar Amarjit Singh, SGPC member Dr Jang Bahadur Singh and Bibi Ranjit Kaur, chairman panchayat samiti Sukhdev Singh, chairman market committee Buta Singh, Harjit Singh Bhantpuri, Baba Jarnail Singh and others were also present.
