Mahilpur: Shiv Kumar Bawa: The farmers have to face many problems during cultivation of their crops. Destruction of the crops by the wild animals is one of the problems and the farmers use various methods to save their crops from the wild animals.
As the wild animals attack the crops during night, so the farmers have to spend sleepless nights in their farmland in order to protect their crops from the wild animals like wild pigs. Sometimes, these animals also come during day time and cause harm to crops and humans.
A similar incident happened at village Rupowal where a wild pig attacked a farmer and injured him badly. The farmer Ajit Singh s/o Tarlok Singh said that he was working in his farmland when a wild pig attacked him. He said that he somehow managed to escape from it and survived.
He asked the Government to have a check on the wild animals entering the residential areas leaving forests.
