Mahilpur: Shiv Kumar Bawa: A speedy passenger bus of Punjab Roadways hit 2 cars at Bahowal village on Hoshiarpur-Garhshankar road. 1 person has died while 9 others have been injured. Injured were rushed to the Civil Hospitals at Mahilpur and Hoshiarpur. Chabbewal police have been investigating into the case.
The deceased youth has been identified as Suresh Kumar s/o Joginder Singh r/o Jalandhar. He died during treatment at Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur. Suresh Kumar was working in Dainik Bhaskar.
Injured include, Baldev Singh s/o Gurcharan Singh r/o Garhdolian (Ropar), Joginder Singh, Sushma w/o Duleharh, her daughter Shauriya and 5 others.
Chabbewal police have taken the accidented vehicles in its possession and began the investigation.
