Tanda: Varinder Pandit: Toll Plaza Sangarsh Committee today staged a dharna at Cholang Toll Plaza on Tanda-Jalandhar road and allowed the vehicles to pass without paying toll from 10 am to 1 pm.
The members of Sangarsh Committee rendered Toll Plaza as the illegal tax and said that these Toll Plazas are the result of bullyism of Punjab and Union Governments. They said that their agitation would continue till the Government did not shut down the Toll Plazas.
State President Harish Khosla, Comrade Darshan Singh Mattu, General Secretary Sandeep Saini, Subhash Mattu, Gurmail Singh Dhaliwal, Amarjit Singh, Satish Bajwara, Harjit Singh Jaura, Dr. Kulwinder Singh Narwal, Kirpal SIngh Jaura, Prithipal Dutta, Amarjit Singh Gill, Davinder Cholang, Dharam Singh Kotli and many others were also present on this occasion.
