Garhshankar: Two teams of Garhshankar Police have arrested 3 drug peddlers and recovered drugs from them. 2 different FIRs have been lodged against them.
As per information received, ASI Om Parkash while patrolling along with the police party arrested Rakesh Kumar alias Ricky s/o Choopa Singh and Sandeep Kumar alias Vicky s/o Suresh Kumar both residents of Mansowal. Police recovered 105 narcotic powder from Rakesh Kumar and 20 gm narcotic powder from Sandeep Kumar. An FIR has been lodged against them under section 22, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
In another case, ASI Avtar Singh while patrolling along with the police party arrested Naresh Kumar alias Husna s/o Kewal Krishan r/o Chakk Rota and recovered 12 gm Heroin from him. An FIR has been lodged against them under section 22, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
