Hariana: A 75 year old woman was found murdered in the farmland of village Naushehra. She was missing from last 2 days. SHO Tirath Ram reached the spot along with the police party and began the investigation.
The woman has been identified as Seetal Kaur (75) w/o Joginder Singh r/o Naushehra. A piece of cloth was tied around her neck and it was further tied with the trunk of tree in the farmland.
Police said the woman has been choked to death with the piece of cloth.
The villagers say that the woman belonged to a very poor family and used to collect woods from the farmland to sell. She was living at her maternal village along with one of her two sons. Her other son is living at Ludhiana.
She went missing on 20th April and her son submitted a missing report to Hariana police on 21st April. Today morning, a youth of same village saw the dead body of Seetal Kaur in the farmland.
SHO Tirath Ram said they have been investigating into the case to solve the murder mystery. He said a case of murder will be registered against the unknown murderers.
