Dasuya: Parveen Singh Mangat: An Army Jawan, Rajinder Kumar (28) r/o Rattra (sub division Dasuya) succumbed to the injuries at a hospital in Chandigarh on 14th April, 2015. He was injured in a mishap on 28th March, 2015.
Today, he was cremated at the cremation ground of village Rattra. The Jawans of Indian Army gave him salute on this occasion.
Jawan Rajinder Kumar is survived by his wife Parveen Kumari (24) and a 3 year old son Amandeep Singh.
Notably, Rajinder Kumar was posted at the Core of Intelligence in New Delhi. He was at his village for the holidays.
Dasuya Police lodged an FIR against an unidentified driver of an unknown vehicle under section 279, 304 (a) and 427 of IPC on the basis of the statement of Parveen Kumari, wife of deceased Jawan.
Parveen Kumari in her statement to the police stated that her husband Rajinder Kumar was returning to their village Rattra from Dadiali and when he reached near village Rora road at about 9: 30 pm on 28th March, 2015, the lights of some unknown vehicle hindered his visibility and as a result Rajinder Kumar’s bike rammed into a tree on roadside. She said he got seriously injured and was immediately rushed to Military Hospital, Jalandhar Cantt. He was further referred to a hospital in Chandigarh, where he succumbed to the injuries on 14th April, 2015.
