Hoshiarpur: Some robbers robbed an Indica car from a taxi driver at gun point near Tanda Byepass Hoshiarpur. Hoshiarpur police have started investigation into the case.
As per information received, some unknown people hired a taxi (Indica car PB08 AZ 4986) from a taxi stand near Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur to Chintpurni (Himachal Pradesh). Taxi driver Happy was driving the car. When the car crossed Bhangi pul, those people started beating Happy and asked him to stop the car near Tanda Byepass.
Happy said that he resisted in the beginning but later when they pointed a pistol on his head, he lost all the hopes and they fled away with his car.
SHO Model Town, Prem Kumar said that the police immediately came into action and began the investigation.
