Hoshiarpur: In a tragic mishap in the Bulanwari area of Hoshiarpur, a birthday boy and his friend died in a road accident late Sunday night. They were returning from the birthday celebrations from a ground near Services Club. Police have recorded the proceedings under section 174 of CrPC.
As per information received, Baldev Singh (22) s/o Jasbir Singh r/o Moh. Fatehgarh, Hoshiarpur and Rohit Sharma s/o Om Parkash (25) r/o Moh. Preet Nagar, Hoshiarpur were traveling on a bike late Sunday night after celebrating the Birthday of Baldev Singh. When they reached near Bulanwari Chowk on Una road, the bike became out of control and rammed into a tree and then hit the shutter of a closed shop.
Baldev Singh (Birthday boy) and Rohit Sharma died at the spot.
