Hoshiarpur: Jaswant Singh Chotala, the district president of All India Jatt Mahasabha expanding the district executive committee made as many as 51 appointments at various posts including Block Presidents.
On Friday, the Hoshiarpur unit of All India Jatt Mahasabha organized a function at Shiraz Regency to give away the appointments letters to all the members of executive committee and Block Presidents. The function was organized in the leadership of district president Jaswant Singh Chotala.
State Senior Vice President of Mahasabha, Padamshri Kartar Pehalwan was the chief guest on this occasion. State Vice president Resham Singh Sidhu, State General Secretary Jagdeep Singh Saprai, State Secretary Bakhtawar Singh Dhillon and DCC Vice President Vishawanath Bunty also graced the occasion.
Various spokespersons discussed about the problems faced by the farmers and the attitude of Government towards them. They alleged the Government of benefiting the industrialists by making the farmers to suffer. State General Secretary Jagdeep Singh Saprai emphasized on farmer unity to make the government and industrialists bow infront of them.
Youth leaders Advocate Gurvir Singh Chotala, Ravneet Singh Taggar and others were also present on this occasion.
