Mahilpur: The Mahilpur police have arrested a peddler of poppy husk and recovered poppy husk from him in a large quantity.
As per information received, SHO Mahilpur SI Dilbag Singh along with the police party arrested Ranjit Singh alias Jeeta s/o Dara Singh r/o Firni Majara (Balachaur) from T-point Mehdood. Police recovered 56 Kg poppy husk from him.
A case has been registered against him under section 15, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
