Mahilpur: Shiv Kumar Bawa: A drug addict youth allegedly committed suicide at his home at village Barian Kalan by hanging himself with the ceiling fan.
The youth Gopi (24) was a barber and was addicted to various types of drugs. Sources say that Gopi committed suicide because of non-availability of drugs.
The villagers have requested the Police administration to have control over the drug smuggling at village Barian Kalan in order to save the young generation of the village. Gopi was cremated today.
