Garhdiwala: On the day of elections (25th Feb, 2015), the thunderstorm rocked the Garhdiwala town with speedy waves of air. Some Eucalyptus trees near the Bus Stop Garhdiwala were leaning and stretching downwards and upwards.
In the meanwhile, a branch of one of the Eucalyptus trees broke and fell on a shop. The roof of the shop was damaged.
Notably, a Government Ration Shop is being run in the said shop and it was closed because of the election process. Thus, no loss of life has been reported. Though, there was loss of property.
It also came to light that there was some dispute between owner of the shop (property) and Government Ration shop owner. The owner of the shop (property) want to vacate the shop but the Govt. Ration shop owner is not vacating it. The matter is in the court.
The Garhdiwala Police have been investigating into the case.
