Hoshiarpur: The Model Town Police of Hoshiarpur have arrested an anti-social element and recovered a countrymade pistol and a bullet from him. Later, during interrogation he confessed that he also have narcotic powder. Later, the Police recovered the narcotic powder from him and the police recovered it. A case has been registered against him.
As per information received, ASI Ashok Kumar was present at Rahimpur Chowk along with the police party and stopped a pulsor bike for checking. Rashpal Singh s/o Balwinder Singh r/o Ravidass Nagar Hoshiarpur was riding the bike and the police recovered a countrymade pistol and a bullet from him. Later, during interrogation he confessed that he also have narcotic powder and the police recovered it.
A case has been registered against him under section 25, 54 and 59 of Arms act and 21, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
ASI Ashok Kumar informed that Rashpal Singh alias Bhundi is a drug-addict and he has already been booked under a case at City Police Station Hoshiarpur.
