Mahilpur: Shiv Kumar Bawa: Various Sikh organizations today submitted a memorandum to the Naib Tehsildar of Mahilpur in support of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa who is on hunger strike since more than 55 days.
Notably, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa is seeking the release of the Sikh prisoners who have completed their punishment in jail as awarded by the honourable courts. The Government have not released them, though they have completed their jail terms. For this demand, Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa is continuing his second hunger strike at Gurudwara Laknaur Sahib in Ambala (Haryana). He is on strike from more than 54 days and his health condition is getting critical day by day and on the other hand, the Government have not been doing anything in this regard.
So, the Sikh organizations at various places have been supporting Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa and have been demanding the release of the prisoners who have completed their jail terms.
Iqbal Singh Khera, Lakhvir Singh Rana, Manvir Singh, Daljit Singh Rampur, Tarlochan Singh, Davinder Singh Gondpur, Sukhdev Singh, Amarjit Singh, Balpreet Singh, Inder Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Charanjit Singh, Kulwant Singh, Joga Singh, Tajinder Kumar, Harjot Singh, Harwinder Kaur Sahota, Paramjit Singh, Baldev Singh, Harbans Lal, Iqbal Singh and many others were present on this occasion.
