Mahilpur: Shiv Kumar Bawa: A youth of village Bhuno was killed in an accident near Bahowal village on Hoshiarpur-Mahilpur road. Notably, the bike of the deceased was crushed by a speedy car coming from backside. Chabbewal police have been investigating into the case.
As per information received, Amandeep Singh s/o Amarjit Singh r/o Bhuno was returning to his home on his bike. His bike was crushed by a speedy car coming from backside near Bahowal. The locals took him out from under the car rushed him to Civil Hospital Mahilpur but doctors declared him brought dead.
On the other hand, the car driver fled away from the spot while the police have taken the possession of the car and bike.
Chabbewal police have lodged an FIR against the unidentified driver of the car. The dead body was handed over to the family members after conducting the postmortem.
