Hoshiarpur: Rajya Sabha MP Avinash Rai Khanna today installed a Speical Camp at village Adamwal along with the administrative officials of Hoshiarpur district including DC Amit Dhaka for solving the grievances of the people and providing them information about various departments of Punjab as well as union Government. Notably, MP Avinash Rai Khanna has adopted the Adamwal village under PM Adarsh Gram Yojana.
ADC (D) Harbir Singh, SDM Anand Sagar Sharma, SP Naresh Dogra, Chief Agriculture Officer Kulbir Singh Deol and other officials of various departments of Government were present on this occasion.
While addressing the gathering, MP Khanna said that he had initiated a special development campaign for Adamwal village. He said that intially Rs. 35 Lakh have been spent on repair of the electricity line to the village with an attitude to provide 24 hour electricity supply to Adamwal.
He also said that in a short span of time, the work for Biogas Plant will be initiated in the village in order to fulfill the kitchen fuel demand of the village.
MP Khanna also said that the health department would also install a camp in the village in the future for the health audit of the village. He said that health cards would be issued to all the citizens of the village Adamwal.
He said that on 10th January an Employment Camp will be organized in the village with an intention to inspire youths for self employment with Government Schemes.
In the Camp, 312 grievances were brought by the people of Adamwal and MP Khanna has ordered the immediate solution of the grievances.
Sanjiv Talwar conducted the stage on this occasion. Sarpanch Satbir Singh, Nepun Sharma, Raman Ghai, Panch Natha Singh, Mohan Singh, Manjit Kaur, Jagjit Singh and the residents of the village were present on this occasion.
