Bullowal: The Bullowal police have booked a medical store owner and 3 of his aides for peddling the drugs. 3 were arrested while selling the drugs at a tubewell room while the police have been conducting raids to arrest the medical store owner. An FIR has been lodged against them under various sections of NDPS act.
As per information received, ASI Amarjit Singh on the basis of a secret information raided a tubewell room along with the police party near petrol pump on Bullowal-Bhogpur road. Police arrested Gurteg Singh s/o Sukhdev Singh r/o Nainowal Vaid, Amandeep Singh s/o Gurmail Singh r/o Khadiala Sainian and Manpreet Singh s/o Inder Singh r/o Gignowal. Police recovered drugs from them in a large amount.
Police said that the medical store owner Mintu r/o Aalowal (Owner of Mintu Medical store Bullowal) has not been arrested yet and they have been conducting raids to arrest him.
Police said that they received a secret information about this drug peddling gang.
An FIR has been lodged against them under section 22, 27, 29, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
