Hoshiarpur: Swami Vivekanand Yuva Manch have submitted a complaint to the Human Rights Commission against the Health Department for alleged mismanagement of Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur. State Vice-President of Manch, Mr. Nipun Sharma submitted the complaint to Mr. Baljinder Singh Thakur, member, Human Rights Commission, Punjab.
Mr. Nipun Sharma said that there has been no team of Specialist doctors in the hospital and the hospital provides very less medicines to the patients and they have to generally purchase medicines from market. He further said that the hospital does not have ICU facility, yet it is the biggest Government Hospital of the district.
He further said that there have been many vacant posts of doctors and other staff in the hospital and thus the patients have been facing many problems and they have to wait in long queues for OPD.
Mr. Nipun Sharma sough action against the health department so that the general public get their right of accessing Government facilities.
