Hoshiarpur: Various police stations of Hoshiarpur district have arrested 5 drug peddlers and recovered drugs from them.
As per information received, ASI Satnam Singh of Mehtiana police station along with the police party nabbed Harminder Singh s/o Surinder Singh r/o Mehtiana with 260 gm narcotic powder.
ASI Manmohan Singh of Mukerian police station along with the police party arrested Gurpreet Singh aloas Chhotu s/o Chaman Lal r/o Panj Dhera and Sajan alias Gopi s/o Kuldeep Kumar r/o Mukerian with 350 gm narcotic powder.
ASI Daljit Singh of Mukerian police station along with the police party arrested Price Pal s/o Resham Singh and Varinderjit Singh alias Vicky s/o Kuldeep Singh r/o Tanda Ram Sahay with 300 gm narcotic powder.
Cases have been registered against these drug peddlers under various sections of NDPS act at respective police station.
