Garhdiwala: A youth raped a minor girl at village Jamsher Chathial in a farm of sugarcane. The Garhdiwala police have booked the youth and one of his friends.
As per information received, the victim 15 year old girl in her statement to the police stated that when she was going to her village Littan on her moped, 2 youths stopped her on her way at village Jamsher Chathial. She said that Gurdeep Singh s/o Surinder Singh r/o Kailon (PS Hariana) took her into a farm of sugarcane and raped her. She said that one of his friends Naveen Kumar alias Deepa s/o Jagdish Ram r/o Mithewal was waiting near the vehicles.
Garhdiwala police have registered a case against Gurdeep Singh and Naveen Kumar under section 376 and 34 of IPC and section 4, 8 and 12 of protection of children from sexual offences act.
