Hoshiarpur: The Rajya Sabha MP Avinash Rai Khanna handed over a demand draft of Rs. 60,180 to the prime minister Narendra Modi for Prime Minister’s relief fund. The money was collected by Bhagwant Singh, former Sarpanch Paramjit Kaur and Amandeep Kaur of village Chhauni Kalan for the victims of flood tragedy in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is grateful to the people of India for helping the flood victims of J&K,” said Avinash Rai Khanna. He further said that PM Modi specially praised the efforts of residents of village Chhauni Kalan for the flood victims.
Political Secretary of Avinash Rai Khanna, Sanjit Talwar said that they have also sent a lot of relief aid to J&K.
