Mahilpur: Shiv Kumar Bawa: An Ambulance vehicle on non-emergency duty crushed a bike head on near village Paldi on Mahilpur-Kot Fatuhi road. 3 youths traveling on the bike were seriously injured and are under treatment. Police have been investigating into the matter.
The Ambulance was driven by Dalvir Singh s/o Sarwan Singh r/o Madduwal (Kapurthala). He was taking the Ambulance to some village for medical camp.
The Ambulance crushed the bike when it was overtaking a bus.
The injured youths have been identified as Amrit r/o Baguha (SBS Nagar), Balwinder Singh r/o Mehli (SBS Nagar and Jaspreet Singh s/o Sarabjit Singh r/o Khurala (SBS Nagar).
A youth leader of Bahujan Samaj Party helped the injured to reach Civil Hospital Mahilpur.
The condition of Balwinder and Jaspreet is critical and they were referred to Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur.
