Tanda: Varinder Pandit: The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tanda, Karanveer Singh today in a press conference informed that the police of Tanda police station have arrested 3 drug peddlers and recovered drugs from them.
DSP Karanveer Singh said that ASI Gulzar Singh along with the police party arrested Kishore Kumar s/o Surjan Dass r/o Tanda with 5 Kg poppy husk. He said that an FIR has been lodged against him under section 15, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
He further said that the Tanda police also arrested a husband-wife Roop Lal and Sarabjit Rodi residents of Chandigarh Colony, Tanda and recovered 3 Kg poppy husk from them. He said that an FIR has been lodged against them under section 15, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
