Bhunga: In the head on collision of a bike and a car, 2 bike riders died on the spot. The car driver fled away from the spot along with the car. Bhunga police have been investigating into the matter.
The deceased have been identified as Gurnam Singh s/o Shangara Singh r/o Garhdiwala and Dr. Preet r/o Kabirpur (Hariana).
Eyewitnesses say that the bike riders were coming from Hoshiarpur side while the car was going towards Hoshiarpur. Both the men died on the spot.
They said that the car driver stopped for a while but then fled away along with the car. None of the eyewitnesses noted the Reg. No. of the vehicle.
The dead bodies of both the deceased have been kept at CHC Bhunga.
Bhunga Police have been investigating into the matter.
