Hoshiarpur: Gurdeep Singh: The CIA staff of Hoshiarpur have arrested 2 peddlers of narcotic powder while the City police have arrested 1 drug peddler. 3 FIRs have been lodged by police.
As per information received, in first case, ASI Amarjit Singh (CIA staff) along with the police party arrested Gagandeep Singh s/o Narinder Singh r/o Neela Saila Kalan with 50 gm narcotic powder. The police arrested Gagandeep from T-point Scheme No. 2 on Fatehgarh Chungi road. An FIR has been lodged against him under section 22, 61 and 85 of NDPS act at Model Town police station.
In second case, ASI Harbans Lal (CIA staff) along with the police party arrested Sarabjit Singh s/o Channan Singh r/o Dansiwal (Presently residing at Scheme No. 2 in HSP) with 58 gm narcotic powder. He was arrested from Rahimpur Chowk. An FIR has been lodged against him under section 22, 61 and 85 of NDPS act at Model Town police station.
In third case, ASI Balwinder Singh of City police station along with the police party arrested Sandeep s/o Surinder Singh r/o New Hari Nagar (HSP) with 50 gm narcotic powder. He was arrested during checking near Old Tehsil on Railway road. An FIR has been lodged against him under section 22, 61 and 85 of NDPS act.
