Dasuya: Baljinder Bodal: A man and his son residents of village Ghogra beaten a woman of same village and injured her. The woman is under treatment at Civil Hospital Dasuya while the man who beat her has been alleging her of theft. But, the Sarpanch of village Ghogra has denied the allegations of theft. Dasuya police have been investigating into the matter.
The victim woman said that she has been working at the houses of the people to make both ends meet. She said that a man of same village asked her to come for a work at his house but she was unable to go to his home for some or the other reason. She said that man annoyed of not following his orders, he and his son tied her with a rope with a pillar and beaten her with bat and hockey sticks. She said that they beaten her till she became unconscious. She said that when she again came in conscious, they again beaten her.
The woman said that when the neighbouring people asked them about the incident, they alleged her of theft.
On the other hand, Sarpanch of village Ghogra have denied the allegation of theft against the woman.
SHO Dasuya Ashwani Kumar said that they have been investigating into the matter and the action will be taken accordingly.
